Unit 1 Pre Production notes Assignment 1

how did they find the crew?
Having successfully got the project approved and a budget set,  we needed to find a script. We called on writers to submit short scripts (approximately 10 - 15 minutes long).how did they find the right location?

when did they do the recce?
The recce was in august 1 month besfore the shoot.

what kit did they need?
The fine detail picked up by the HD camera means make-up and production must be flawless. We discussed post production implications on shooting cable free. This will give us more movement flexibility on set as the sound cables won’t need to be attached to the camera

who sorted out the shooting schedule?

what cost or quote did the production get that was 'through the roof'?

on what day in the directors diary did they get 'severely behind schedule'?
